Laura has a real gift for taking the stress out of complicated financial problems and making her clients feel supported every step of the way. She loves being that trusted partner people can count on.

Fun fact: before becoming an accountant, Laura earned her Bachelor of Science at Dalhousie University. (Brains + heart = the perfect combo)

Lianne has been helping businesses grow and thrive for over 30 years! She’s passionate about finding practical solutions that take the stress out of accounting and tax so her clients can focus on what they do best.

She especially loves supporting new entrepreneurs to get started on the right foot — and helping established businesses reach their next level of success.

Lianne holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of New Brunswick and is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA).

Outside the numbers, she’s all about helping people and celebrating client wins. We’re so lucky to have Lianne on the Davison Accounting team — bringing expertise, positivity, and genuine care to everything she does!

Accountant

Michelle was born and raised in Hants County, Nova Scotia. She received her Accounting Diploma in 1996 and has spent more than 20 years working in public practice, supporting a wide range of clients.

At Davison Accounting, Michelle focuses exclusively on personal and corporate tax returns. She works closely with her corporate clients to deliver timely year-end financial statements and tax filings, and her clients consistently speak highly of her dedication, reliability, and approachable nature. Michelle is trusted to look after her clients’ financial interests and takes pride in building long-term client relationships.

Outside of work, Michelle enjoys spending time with family and friends, as well as hiking, camping, and working in her flower garden.

Michelle is a valued and experienced member of the Davison Accounting team.

Accounting Technician

Heidi brings extensive experience as an Accounting Technician, with a background in both public practice and other industry sectors. At Davison Accounting, she plays a key role in supporting clients and the team through accurate bookkeeping, organized financial records, and dependable day-to-day accounting support. Heidi is known for her attention to detail, strong work ethic, and willingness to step in wherever needed — qualities that make her a trusted and valued resource for both clients and colleagues.

Outside of the office, Heidi enjoys roaming beaches, hiking in search of waterfalls, and spending time with family and friends around bonfires. She also loves crafting with her Cricut machine, baking and decorating cookies, and — most often — driving one of her three girls where they need to be.

We are thrilled to have Heidi as part of the Davison Accounting team.

Accounting Technician

Laura is known for building strong, trusted relationships with her clients and for her ability to anticipate their needs before they even have to ask. She brings a thoughtful, proactive approach to her work and takes pride in making sure clients feel supported, informed, and well taken care of throughout the year.

At Davison Accounting, Laura is a go-to team member for both clients and colleagues alike. Her attention to detail, organizational skills, and client-first mindset make her an integral part of the firm’s day-to-day operations.

In addition to her professional role, Laura is also our in-house party planner — the creative force behind many of our team celebrations and events. Her energy and enthusiasm contribute greatly to the positive culture at Davison Accounting.

Client Services Manager

Kelly serves as the Client Services Manager at Davison Accounting and is often the first point of contact for clients. She plays a key role in coordinating client communications, managing workflows, and ensuring each client experience is smooth, timely, and well supported. With a strong understanding of both client needs and internal processes, Kelly helps keep the office running efficiently while making sure nothing falls through the cracks.

Kelly is known for her approachable nature, clear communication style, and commitment to building trust with clients. She works closely with both clients and the accounting team to anticipate needs, answer questions, and ensure clients feel confident, informed, and supported throughout the year.

Outside of work, Kelly enjoys unwinding by playing board games — especially Crokinole — and values balance, connection, and bringing positive energy to her work and the team.

Kelly is a valued member of the Davison Accounting team and takes pride in fostering strong client relationships and a welcoming, client-focused environment.

Account Technician

Valerie is an Accounting Technician at Davison Accounting who brings experience, consistency, and a strong client-focused approach to her role. Working part-time, she manages a group of long-time clients with whom she has built trusted, lasting relationships over the years. Her clients value her familiarity with their files, her reliability, and the personal care she brings to every interaction.

At Davison Accounting, Valerie is known for her steady support and attention to detail, helping ensure clients feel confident and well looked after year after year. She is a trusted team member whose deep client relationships contribute meaningfully to the firm’s continuity and client experience.

In addition to her accounting work, Valerie is the gracious host of our annual holiday lunch, bringing style, warmth, and thoughtful touches that make it a team highlight each year.

Corporate Feline Officer

Every good accounting firm needs someone who takes their job seriously — and Penny is here to make sure we do.

Penny joined the Davison Accounting team in late October 2025 and quickly established herself as our resident Corporate Feline Officer (CFO). Her responsibilities include supervising the office, conducting highly selective quality-control inspections, accepting cat treats, and ensuring that employees remain sufficiently distracted throughout the workday.

Penny is a little on the shy side, but once she decides you're worthy of her attention, she'll happily make herself comfortable nearby. She takes her role as office supervisor very seriously and has a particular talent for appearing exactly when someone is trying to get something done.

Outside of her executive duties, Penny enjoys treats, finding cozy places to nap, and reminding everyone that the office may belong to Davison Accounting, but she runs it. 🐾
